Worship in Sanctuary

Let me remind everyone, and also ask that you tell others, that our church recommends everyone follow the recommended CDC guidelines while at church. These include, but are not limited to, the following list:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub.

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a mask when in public settings or around others.

  • Maintain at least six feet distance between you and people coughing or sneezing.

  • Avoid touching your face.

  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

  • Stay home if you feel unwell.

Now, obviously, these guidelines are only recommendations. And the Stover First Baptist church has no authority to enforce these as rules or law. However, in light of recent events, which includes the very real existence of COVID-19 in our midst, it would seem appropriate to re-commit ourselves to these for the benefit of all.

Thank you so much for your continued support and attendance.

Celebrate Recovery

Any one with hurts, habits and hang-ups should be part of this program. There is no one that I know, even those who attend church, who would not benefit. This program has been proven successful for over twenty years. This is not a flash-in-the-pan; but a real chance for people to overcome issues that cause us pain through focusing on our one Hope - JESUS CHRIST!

Don't be afraid to call and just ask about this program. Contact pastor Chris (see staff page) or James Shearer (573-789-6856).We are ready to help - are you ready to help?
